Create and display 3D scans with AR
vSite is a leading augmented reality (AR) solution for performing utility-grade reality capture and visualizing 3D scans.
vSite is a leading augmented reality (AR) solution for performing utility-grade reality capture and visualizing 3D scans.
vSite adds a new dimension to your 3D scans and point-cloud data by displaying it in augmented reality with centimeter-level accuracy.
Review previously documented excavations or perform 3D scans using only iPhone Pro or iPad Pro to make better decisions and avoid costly mistakes and delays.
With a few lines of code, vSite integrates with your current reality-capture providers or back-end systems, like Autodesk, Bentley, Esri, and Leica, so that you can publish your 3D scans to vSite from your existing archives or pull data from vSite into your CDE automatically.

vSite allows you to perform 3D scans either directly from vSite or by using your existing provider, such as Leica Infinity.
Being able to see various stages of work in progress or excavations exactly as they were long after the work has been completed gives you new opportunities to audit job quality, reduce excavation and maintenance costs, and react more quickly during emergencies.
The vSite system allows for real-time upload and sharing of oriented images, 3D scans, and data collection. The entire reporting process is intuitive and easy to navigate for contractors and other stakeholders. The data is immediately available to the project team through real-time integration between vSite and Esri ArcGIS. This process helps maintain transparency with clients, enhancing collaboration and building trust.

Knowing what lies beneath prevents incidents. High-accuracy reality capture displayed in augmented reality shows precisely what’s under the surface. And it can be practical even without any additional hardware, as this video illustrates. In this instance, the reality capture AR is draped over the physical world with sub-10cm accuracy without external GNSS, using the patented GNSS-less calibration method.
Working jointly with a photogrammetry provider RezoProcess, vGIS developed a prototype of automated conversion of videos captured during typical subsurface structure inspections into accurate 3D scans. The process integrates into the existing inspection workflows without separate equipment.
